I had so much fun meeting this wonderful family.

I received an e-mail from Melissa sometime in September that read "I've been following your work for a while now and I love your photography style" I can't even tell you how good that was to hear.  Melissa wanted a newborn session but not your typical posed, in studio, props kind of session and that's what really drew me to this family.  This is how I love to shoot.  I met Melissa, James and little Liam at Frear Park on a seasonably warm October day,  which couldn't have been more of a blessing given the fact Liam would be a little under dressed for some shots!

I definitely enjoy posed photos and we did quite a few of the three of them together but I feel the best shots come from those candid moments when I have my clients just make pretend I'm not there.  Most people have a little bit of a hard time being themselves while someone is walking around them snapping a photo every few seconds....but Melissa and James were so at ease and so natural that I really think that's why each photo from our session has such a magical feel.

I hope I get to see this little guy again and capture some more milestones for this great family!!!
